Bombs defused in Hong Kong
Two suspicious objects were spotted at Wah Yan College and which were later found to contain 22 lbs of explosives. The only function of the bombs was to kill people. They were made with mobile phones, nails, and high explosives. The bombs were first spotted by a school janitor at 5:30 pm. A section of the road was closed so the devices could be investigated. Alick McWhirter, the senior bomb disposal officer on the scene, said the devices contained two types of high explosives, primary and secondary, each using the volatile ammonium nitrate. Nails were added to cause more harm. The college will be open for normal classes on Tuesday.
