Caribbean Earthquake by Andrew Margolis
On Tuesday, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Caribbean between Jamaica and Cuba. It could be felt all the way to the eastern Cuban city of Santiago. Buildings in Miami were evacuated as a precaution. On the Cayman Islands, the quake left cracked roads and sewage spilling from the main system. The earthquake epicenter was 6 miles beneath the surface. There has been little damage and no deaths.
